FIRST ORDER? WHAT TO EXPECT
Congratulations! You've joined the smudge-proof revolution. Prepare yourself for getting out the door in no time flat, realizing you can't remember the last time you touched up, and reaching for white coffee mugs without fear! We even sell one ;) Here's a few items of note:
The first time you try LipSense, the application may tingle, which is more sensitive to some over others. This happens when lips are dry, chapped or damaged. It should only last a few seconds and should improve with subsequent applications.
We highly recommend an initial purchase of a Starter Kit: 1 color, 1 gloss and 1 oops remover. Starter Kits can be customized for your needs. Contact Us.
Each color if used exclusively should last 4-6 months.
HOW TO APPLY LIPSENSE
Like a potato chip bag, even simple things sometimes need instructions. We'll try to get you back onto your day quickly. This is part of a regimen that 1) looks amazing, 2) is show-worthy in under five minutes, and 3) lasts all day. Yes, seriously.
Ensure lips are dry and healthy. LipSense will improve the condition of your lips in time, but broken skin can result in a tingling to burning sensation depending on the damage level and is intolerable to some.
Apply 3 coats in a sweeping motion for coverage, air drying a few seconds between coats. Do not blot or press lips together while wet.
Apply gloss of choice. Now you're done for the day!
PICKING THE RIGHT COLORS FOR YOU
Very commonly we hear after a first-time purchase a customer wish she'd gone darker. To be sure not all, but some of us who go for nude colors do so from a (subconscious?) lack of trust in our cosmetics, to mitigate the social risk of that embarrassing uneven wear off. This will not happen with LipSense's smooth and plump coverage.
May I suggest if you are in this crowd of nude colors-only-ists that you consider venturing a little outside your comfort zone? I recommend purchasing a Starter Kit, and adding one additional color of a different type (i.e.: one nude and a red of choice). Wear your nude, or go bold, but these can also be mixed for many shades in between until you arrive at your perfect one.
